It is ideal for application such as mobile broadband communication, base station in ISP's deployment for wireless Internet access and long distance backhaul ptp link of up to 25km (with suitable antenna).

Particular attentions were paid to the mechanical design with mobility in mind to ensure that the wireless performance is not compromised by vibration from moving vehicle. Operable from 12V to 48V DC, t can be powered directly from the car battery.

The AP-xx68 is equipped with the best of its class receiver sensitivity of 73dBm at 54Mbps and -93dBm at 1Mbps. Together with auto fallback of data modulation rate had make AP-xx68 ideal for vehicle roaming.

With the ability to support 250 wireless associations with 50 concurrent users, and the quality of service (QoS) mechanism that prioritizes the flow of live (video and voice) data over data packets, the AP-xx68 is perfect as wireless base station for Internet Service Provider (ISP) deployment. The dual antenna diversity feature also helps to provide a larger radio cell coverage and hence more reliable wireless links.
