OVERVIEW
The Wireless Camera Recoding Unit Gateway (WCRU-III-Gateway) is a ruggedized Gateway Unit housed in an IP54 metal casing and supports a wide range of operating temperature from -25°C to +70°C. It meets the vibration, impact and shock resistance requirement under stringent transportation standards, and is certified to Train Standard.
The WCRU-III-Gateway, operating as communication gateway of the vehicle, enables Access Control Security with User ID and Password with audit trail to remote stations for any kind of applications in the train which can be connected via its customizable communication suite. Multiple devices can directly be attached to the WCRU-III-Gateway by using the integrated 5 Ethernet and GPIO ports.
The router software is based on well proven components and standard communication protocols. The device is administered via web browser or command line.

Our WNCS-233 NMS can be used to remotely manage the WCRU-III-Gateway, such as remote configuration to interface with customer programs, firmware upgrade on-the-fly, central device configuration, heartbeat monitoring, etc. The WCRU-III-Gateway is qualified for operating under harsh environmental conditions defined in EN 50155.
